Very unique piece of Japanese art  antique wooden carved sword rack  for six samurai katana swords. The rack made from black wood, carved and incrusted in shibayama technique with mother-of-pearl and ivory with cock and hen under the plum blossom motif on front side and on two side stand with cherry blossom motif.
 
This item of the Samurai Art! is very rare and highly collectible and prized by collectors.
Late Edo period - early Meiji period.

Very good condition according to age.
