Finely modeled Japanese antique doll  of a  young geisha walking with umbrella in her hands.
Geisha dressed with silk kimono adorned with waves and clouds motif, traditional pattern for geisha's kimono and with geta sandals. Her kimono's hem tucked under her silk brocaded obi belt.
Geisha's hair-dress is beautifully adorned with long tortoise hair-pins and and with carved comb and her long hair is intricate brushed in Kyoto style.
Doll stands on wooden lacquered stand.  Geisha's face is lovely and slightly sentimental.
This wonderful doll made in Kyoto on early Showa era.
Highly collectible item of Japanese art.

Dimensions: 37 cm /14,5 inches high
Conditions: excellent according to age and with  real antique taste. Doll's kimono color is slightly faded from time.
