style doll
( Ichimatsu are the child dolls
correctly proportioned usually made with their movable
hands) crafted in Kyoto, around 1950-60's and represents
a 7--8years old girl dressed with: and finely modeled

antique doll of a girl dressed with wonderful
bright and colorful ceremonial kimono and obi belt. Her
silk kimono designed with palace's
carts, flowers and mist motif as Japanese symbols of prosperity.
Doll's silk brocaded obi black with floral design belt tied in Butterfly style
on her back. Japanese traditional purse with long
silver hair pin " bira-bira" as a necessary accessory of
a girl's festive attire is attached in the bosom.
The obi belt adorned with yellow and white silk ribbons
and pink tie-dyed silk under-obi.
Japanese traditional white socks are on her feet.
Her black straight hair trimmed and stacked in the fashion
of Taisho era ( 1912-1924).
