Wonderfully carved unique Japanese doll from Kyoto represents a woman dressed with silk  kimono with cherry blossom motif and silk brocaded obi belt tied as a big bow on the back. Her Kyoto style intricate hairdo adorned with two long hair-pins, carved comb and silk ribbon. Doll's head, hairdo, arms and feet are carved from wood and finished with gofun (crushed oyster shell powder). The doll's face and hairdo then hand painted delicately

Dimensions: 24 cm /9,4 inches high
Condition: The doll is in excellent condition according to age with no damage
