traditional doll
of a beauty dressed with artistically designed shibori
silk black upper kimono with flying golden storks
motif and silk brocaded ivory colored obi belt with
golden chrysanthemum motif tied with big bow on the
doll's back. Her first under kimonos is made
from peach colored chirimen silk with embroidered
white storks motif on long sleeve.
Japanese doll's hair-dress is beautifully adorned with long
hair pins carved with chrysanthemum, comb and hair
pin with pendant which looks like origami storks. The Doll
dancing with golden hand painted folding fan in her hand.
The doll stands on wooden black lacquered stand.
Her face is tender and full of true nobleness.
This traditional Japanese doll has Imperial award
diploma and she is high collectible piece of Japanese Fine
Art.
